160 × 200 is the most common double size: 80 cm per person and standard mattresses that are easy to find. In this size we have 21 models of our own production — with an upholstered headboard in the fabric of your choice and a slatted base.
Who 160 cm suits
A couple in a medium-sized bedroom. 80 cm per person is the standard at which two people sleep undisturbed. If you want more space and the room allows it, see beds 180 × 200.
One person who likes space. 160 cm is no longer “a single with room to spare” but a full-size bed you can stretch out on.
A length of 200 cm suits people up to about 190 cm tall. If you need a different length, tell our manager.
How much space you need
Leave 60–70 cm of walkway at the sides and at the foot: a 160 cm bed plus two 70 cm walkways is 300 cm of room width. If the bed stands against the wall on one side, less will do, but making the bed will be awkward.
Count bedside tables within that walkway, not separately. On bedside table height relative to the mattress: Bedside table height.
Headboard: from 60 to 132 cm
The height of the beds including the headboard in this size is from 60 cm (Mode 2) to 132 cm (Diva). A low headboard does not overload a small room; a high one becomes a feature across the whole wall and lets you lean back to read sitting up.
The headboard fabric is chosen to match the curtains, rug or sofa; after a few years it can be reupholstered in another fabric without buying a new bed.
What the headboard is made of
The headboard is sewn using the same technology as our sofas, from the same materials.
The filling is durable polyurethane foam of varying density. We do not use spring units in upholstered furniture: in a piece you lean your back against every day, they are the first to give way. Polyurethane foam of varying density holds its shape for years and does not sag.
The fabrics are all hypoallergenic. Some collections have additional properties: anti-scratch with a dense weave that stands up better to claws, and water-repellent with a treatment that makes stains easier to remove. For a bedroom with pets or a child’s room, this makes all the difference.

Lift-up storage and mattress
A lift-up mechanism with a storage compartment is an option for any model: duvets, bedding and seasonal items fit under the base.

- From ₴18,870 in 160 × 200 (FLATTY model, ECO fabric). The price depends on the model, fabric collection and options — lift-up storage.
- 160 or 180 — which to choose?
- If the width of the bedroom allows 60–70 cm walkways at the sides, 180 cm gives 90 cm per person. If the room is narrower, 160 cm will be more comfortable than a bed you have to squeeze past.
