How it works
- AI recognises the item in the photo and rates its production complexity against 29 criteria, the same way our technician does.
- It scales every part to your dimensions: seat, backrest, side panels, armrest, cushions.
- Every part goes through MeBelle's actual production calculator, so you see a fair estimate straight away.
Book a free measurement
Our specialist will come with fabric samples, take measurements and calculate the price on the spot. Choose a convenient date and time — our manager will confirm the booking.

When custom-made furniture is not a whim but the only option
Irregular room geometry. An alcove under a window, a sloping attic ceiling, a protruding load-bearing wall. A ready-made sofa either does not fit in such a spot or leaves a dead zone that nothing can fill.
A size between standards. The space for the sofa is 235 cm. Standard models are 220 or 250. The first leaves a gap, the second does not fit.
Height for a specific person. At 195 cm tall, a standard 200 cm bed means your feet hit the end every night. Adding 20 cm to the length costs much less than you might think.
A feature the catalogue does not have. Socket cut-outs in the headboard, an extended headboard for leaning on pillows, a non-standard seat height, a storage compartment of a specific depth. We do these regularly, and there are examples in our portfolio.
A fabric the ready-made model does not come in. Sometimes everything suits you except the upholstery. That is also a custom order, and the simplest one.
How much it costs and how long it takes
These are the two questions that hold people back, so we will answer them straight away.
Price. Custom-made furniture costs more than a ready-made model, but not several times more. The price depends on how complex the piece is and on the lead time. Our manager will give you a rough figure within the first few minutes of the conversation, before you order anything. The configurator above shows an estimated price immediately, even before you contact a manager.
Lead time. 7–21 days depending on how complex the piece is; we give a specific date after agreeing it with the production technologist. It is not months: we are a factory, not a middleman, and we do not wait for deliveries from abroad.
Free storage at our warehouse for up to 6 months. This solves the main problem of ordering furniture during a renovation: you do not have to guess when exactly the room will be ready. Order now, at today’s price and without rushing your choice of fabric, and collect it when you are actually ready to take delivery. Storage costs nothing and needs no separate agreement: just tell the manager you need delivery later.
Payment. 70% once the specification is agreed, the rest after the piece is made. You can pay in instalments over up to 6 months with no interest.
Why non-standard is not an exception for us
Whether a custom order is possible depends not on the manufacturer’s willingness but on whether it has the production facilities for it. We do, and not only for sewing.
Our own welding and frame workshop. We weld frames ourselves, so we do not depend on whether a ready-made one can be found. It is not only furniture that goes through this workshop: tables, chairs, shelves, even wedding decor such as arches and structures for decorating venues.
Full-cycle sewing production. We have machines of every type, so sewing of any complexity is not a question of whether we will take it on, only of how long it will take. We also do embroidery and branding: a venue’s logo on a headrest or chair back is made in-house, not by a subcontractor.
A supplier network instead of a warehouse. You cannot see this on the website, but it is what makes the difference on complex orders. Genuine leather, nappa, technical and rare materials: we source them for the specific job rather than offering whatever is in stock.
Office cabinet furniture, turnkey. From design to delivery and on-site installation. So you can fit out an office with one contractor instead of three.
What we can change and what we cannot
We are honest about the limits, because it saves time for both sides.
There is no upper size limit. If the piece is designed around your dimensions from the start, we will take on any size and any structural complexity. The limits below apply to something else: changes to a ready-made model whose frame is designed for certain dimensions.
With non-standard dimensions the question is usually not whether we can make it, but how to get it into your home. So along with the piece itself we work out the logistics straight away: whether the largest part fits in the lift, up the stairwell and through the door. A modular design solves almost everything, but it has to be planned at the design stage, not after delivery.
We do regularly: dimensions within the model’s design, headboard and backrest height, seat depth, module configuration and corner side, fabric from any of our collections, extra storage compartments and cut-outs, leg height.
We consider case by case: changes that affect the folding mechanism, a significant increase in dimensions beyond the frame’s design load, structural solutions from other people’s drawings.
Every change goes through the production technologist. If a change would make the piece less durable or stop the mechanism working properly, we will tell you before you order and suggest an alternative. Promising “any changes” is easy, but it is the customer who pays for it later.
How it works
1. Configurator or measuring visit. Build the configuration yourself and get an estimated price and a 3D model. Or book a measuring visit: we will come, measure and advise on the spot.
2. Agreement with the production technologist. We check that all the changes are feasible and fix the specification.
3. Fabric samples. We send them before production starts: colour on screen and in real life always differ.
4. Production.
5. Delivery and assembly.
See what we have already made
Our portfolio has real custom orders with dimensions and prices: a 350 × 100 cm modular sofa, a 300 × 200 × 70 cm sofa, a 200 × 200 bed with an extended headboard and socket cut-outs, bar stools.
It is the best way to see how far you can go.
Frequently asked questions
- How much more does an order in custom dimensions cost?
- It depends on how complex the piece is and on the lead time. Our manager will work out a rough figure within the first few minutes of the conversation, with no separate request needed.
- How long does custom-made furniture take?
- 7–21 days depending on complexity. We give the exact lead time after agreeing the specification with the production technologist. We are the manufacturer, so we do not depend on deliveries and do not drag it out for months.
- Can you make any changes at all?
- No, and we say so plainly. Dimensions, fabric, height, module configuration, extra storage compartments: we do these regularly. Changes that affect the folding mechanism or the strength of the frame are reviewed by the production technologist, who may suggest an alternative.
- Can I order from my own drawing?
- Yes. Send technical documentation or photos of the piece together with its dimensions, and we will create a model and send it to you for approval. You can upload files right in the configurator: JPG, PNG or PDF. The production technologist checks the design and tells you what is feasible at the specification stage.
- Does the warranty apply to a custom-made piece?
- Yes, the same as for any catalogue piece: 24 months. Custom dimensions do not narrow the warranty: the piece is made at the same factory, from the same materials and to the same standards.
- How do I pay for a custom order?
- 70% once the specification is agreed, the rest after the piece is made. You can pay in instalments over up to 6 months with no interest.
- Can I see what it will look like?
- Yes, the configurator gives you a 3D model and an AR view, so you can see the piece in your room through your phone camera.
