6 models for the bedroom, hallway and child’s room — from compact units to large storage systems.
How much clothes space you really need
The most common mistake is buying a wardrobe “to fit what I have”. Within a year there are more things, and the wardrobe no longer closes.
A rough but workable estimate: one person needs about 60–80 cm of rail width for hanging clothes, plus shelves for folded ones. For two — from 120 cm of rail.
If you have a lot of outerwear or keep seasonal things here too, add more.
What is inside matters more than what is outside
You see the outside of a wardrobe every day, but you use the inside. So before choosing, it is worth working out:
A rail for long items — dresses, coats. Needs a height of 140 cm or more.
A rail for short items — shirts, jackets, trousers on hangers. 90–100 cm is enough here, and a second rail or shelves can go underneath.
Shelves — for folded items. A comfortable height between shelves is 30–35 cm.
Top storage — for seasonal things and what you rarely use.
Tell our manager what you have more of — and we will plan the interior around that, not the other way round.
Hinged or sliding doors
All models in the catalogue have hinged doors. This is deliberate: hinged doors give full access to the contents at once, do not take depth for a mechanism and have no floor track that collects dust.
They have one drawback, but a noticeable one — they need room to open. Allow 60–70 cm of free space in front of the wardrobe: if there is a bed or table opposite, the doors will hit it.
We also make sliding-door wardrobes — as a custom order. There are no such models in the catalogue, so if space in front of the wardrobe is tight, tell our manager: we will work out a sliding-door wardrobe for your alcove.
Material
We make it from E1-class MDF and chipboard, 18 mm thick. E1 is a formaldehyde emission class under the European classification — the level permitted for furniture in living spaces. It is a specific technical class of board, not an advertising phrase like “quality materials”: we have the certificate for the board, and you can request it together with the invoice.
Laser edging, from 0.4 to 2 mm depending on where it goes. The laser fuses the edge to the board without a glue line — the thin dark strip that yellows and peels over time on ordinary PVC edging. Visible edges get a thicker band, inner ones a thinner band: a thick edge inside would only eat into the usable space.
You choose the colour and combination of materials together with our manager — not from three options in a drop-down list, but to suit your interior. Before production starts, we prepare a visual in the chosen material: you see exactly how your wardrobe will look before we start making it.
Dimensions and functions are not fixed either. Width, height to suit your ceiling, depth, number of sections, the ratio of rails to shelves — all of this can be adjusted to your space and your habits. The model in the catalogue is a starting point, not a fixed product.
Measure the ceiling before ordering
A wardrobe is the item that most often fails to fit not through the door but by the height of the room. Especially with a stretch ceiling: an assembled wardrobe has to be raised upright, and that needs a few centimetres to spare.
Tell our manager your ceiling height — it will be taken into account in the calculation.
Plus the usual: door width, the turn in the hallway, the lift dimensions.
Frequently asked questions
- How wide a wardrobe do two people need?
- As a guide — from 120 cm of rail for hanging clothes, plus shelves for folded ones. If you have a lot of outerwear or keep seasonal things here too, add more.
- What should I consider about the ceiling height?
- An assembled wardrobe has to be raised upright, so you need a few centimetres to spare. With a stretch ceiling this is critical — tell our manager the actual height.
- Can the interior layout be changed?
- Yes. Tell us what you have more of — long clothes, short clothes or folded items — and we will choose a configuration of rails and shelves to suit.
- Can I order a wardrobe in a non-standard size?
- Yes, we make everything in our own factory. Any change to the dimensions is agreed with our production engineer.
- Does the wardrobe arrive assembled?
- No, it arrives disassembled — otherwise it simply would not fit into the flat.
