What is most often ordered non-standard
Length. The most common case is a space that does not match the standard range. A 235 cm alcove, a 290 cm wall, a narrow gap between a window and a door. We make it to the exact size, not “close enough”.
Seat depth. Standard depth is designed for average height. A tall person is uncomfortable on such a sofa because the thighs lack support; a shorter person, on the other hand, cannot reach the floor with their feet. This is easy to fix and makes a noticeable difference to comfort.
Module configuration. For modular models, your own layout to suit the room: the longer section on the left or right, a chaise on the side you need, extra sections.
Backrest height. A lower backrest does not block a window or a view; a higher one supports your head.

What to consider before ordering
Measure not only the space for the sofa but also the delivery route: doors, turns in the hallway, the lift. For large non-standard sizes this is decisive; sometimes it is the access route that leads us to suggest a modular design instead of a one-piece one.
If it is a sofa bed, also measure its depth when unfolded and the passage past it.
The filling is durable polyurethane foam of varying density, as across our whole range.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you make a sofa to fit an alcove exactly?
- Yes, it is our most common order. Give us the alcove dimensions and we will allow for installation tolerances.
- Can you change the seat depth to suit my height?
- Yes. Tell us your height and how you like to sit, and we will suggest a depth. It is one of the changes that makes the most noticeable difference to comfort.
- Which costs more: a longer sofa or a modified design?
- Increasing the dimensions within a model costs relatively little. Changes that involve the folding mechanism cost more. The calculation will show the exact difference.
- Will a large sofa fit into my flat?
- For non-standard dimensions this is the main question. Send us the dimensions of your doors, hallway and lift; if a one-piece design will not fit through, we will suggest a modular one.
- How long does it take?
- 7–21 days depending on complexity. The exact lead time is given after agreeing it with the production technologist.
