The most common reasons to order a non-standard bed
Above-average height. A standard 200 cm length is comfortable up to roughly 190 cm tall. Any taller and your feet hit the end every night. Extending it to 210–220 cm costs noticeably less than most people expect, and it is one of those purchases people later say they should have made sooner.
A room between standards. A bedroom where 160 cm leaves empty space and 180 does not leave a proper walkway. A 170 width solves it.
An existing mattress. If you have already bought a mattress, especially a non-standard one, we make the bed to fit it, checking the actual internal size. That is more reliable than looking for a bed the mattress “should fit”.
Headboard. Extended, so you can sit comfortably against pillows. Taller, to act as a feature in the room. With socket cut-outs, so you can charge your phone without running a cable across the bed. We have already made the last one, and there is an example in our portfolio.

What to consider
The bed arrives disassembled, but the headboard is a large one-piece part. For non-standard sizes, be sure to check the door width and the turn in the hallway.
If you are planning a lift-up storage base, bear in mind that it adds to the cost and makes the base heavier. For non-standard sizes the mechanism is selected separately.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you make a bed longer for a tall person?
- Yes, it is one of the most common custom orders. Tell us your height and we will advise on the length. The price difference is usually smaller than people expect.
- Will you make a bed to fit my mattress?
- Yes. Give us the exact mattress dimensions and we will make the bed to fit it, checking the actual internal size of the sleeping area.
- Can you make socket cut-outs in the headboard?
- Yes, we have made them before, and there is an example in our portfolio. Tell us which side and at what height.
- Can I have a non-standard width, for example 170 cm?
- Yes. In-between sizes are a typical order for bedrooms where the standard does not fit.
- Can a non-standard size have a lift-up mechanism?
- Yes, but the mechanism is selected separately for the specific dimensions. The production technologist will check compatibility before you order.
