Velour is available on all eight models — the construction does not depend on the fabric. The difference between materials is not in how they look but in how they behave a year later.
What velour gives you
Depth of colour. The pile reflects light differently depending on the angle, so a velour chair looks three-dimensional rather than flat. The same shade reads lighter and darker on different faces — which is exactly why people choose it.
Pleasant to the touch. It is a material you want to touch, and in a dining room or living room that is noticeable.
Holds its shape well. A dense pile stretches less at the folds than smooth fabrics.
What to expect from it
The pile shows marks from hands and brushing. This is not a defect but a property: the marks are removed with a brush or a hand in one stroke. But if it annoys you when furniture “keeps” prints, velour is not your material.
Dust is more visible on dark velour than on textured fabrics such as basket-weave.
It needs a treatment where people eat. Without one, velour absorbs liquid faster than dense woven fabrics. Tell our manager the chairs are for dining — the treatment is chosen for the collection.
Who it suits
Living room and a separate dining room — yes. That is where velour shows itself best and wears slowly.
A kitchen with children — with caution. Basket-weave fabric or microfibre are more practical: a dense weave absorbs less, and the texture hides small marks.
A venue — a question for our manager about a specific collection: abrasion resistance varies widely among velours, and that is what needs checking, not the name of the material.

- Can I get velour to match my sofa?
- Yes, if we made the sofa, the collection is saved in the order. If not, send a sample or a photo.
