Custom acoustic panels
Upholstered panels made for your walls from the same fabrics as our sofas. We make them to your size, shape and layout — from one wall in a meeting room to a whole restaurant dining room.
Why a commercial space needs them
The problem is almost always the same: the room looks good but it is loud. Hard surfaces — glass, concrete, tiles, large windows — reflect sound, the conversation at the next table is easier to hear than your own, and guests leave earlier than they might.
An upholstered panel on the wall works as a large absorber: instead of reflecting sound back into the room, it takes it in. That is why panels go where people need to hear each other — restaurants, coffee shops, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, recording and podcast studios.
We do not do acoustic calculations and do not quote absorption figures — we have no such measurements. We make the panel itself: frame, filling, upholstery, fixings. If you have a design from an acoustic engineer, we follow it exactly.
What they are made of
The construction is the same as in a bed headboard or a sofa backrest: a frame, a filling of polyurethane foam of varying density and a layer of hollow fibre under the fabric that holds the shape and keeps the upholstery from sagging.
The fabric comes from our collections: 320 colours in three categories ECO, PRESTIGE and PREMIUM. For a commercial space we usually recommend collections with higher abrasion resistance or with a treatment that makes stains easier to remove.
This means something simple: the panels can be made in the same fabric as the banquettes or sofas in the same room. The room looks coherent rather than a set of solutions from different suppliers.
Shape and layout
You set the size, shape and layout. The most common options are rectangular modules in a row, vertical strips running the full height of the wall, hexagons or a combination of sizes.
Panels can cover a wall as a continuous field, form an accent area behind the bar or in a meeting room, or be combined with a banquette: the lower part is the seat, and the upper part is a panel that serves as a backrest and protects the wall at the same time.
We choose the fixings for your wall. Plasterboard without a mounting insert, brick and concrete all hold differently, so tell the manager what your walls are made of at the start.
How ordering works
1. Dimensions or a plan. Photos of the wall and its dimensions are enough. If you have an interior design project or an acoustic engineer’s calculation, we work from it.
2. Quote and fabric samples. You get the number of modules, the layout and the cost. We send or bring samples — fabric for a room is not chosen from a photo on a screen.
3. Production. 7–21 days depending on complexity and volume; we give a specific date once everything is agreed.
4. Installation. In the Kyiv project, 14 days passed from the order to a finished, fully installed room.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you do an acoustic calculation of the room?
- No. We make the panels themselves — frame, filling, upholstery and fixings. If you have a design from an acoustic engineer, we follow it exactly; if not, our manager will suggest a typical layout for your type of space.
- What sizes do the panels come in?
- Size and shape are set to fit your space — from small modules to panels running the full height of the wall. There is no standard size catalogue, because every wall is different.
- Can the panels be made in the fabric of our furniture?
- Yes, and this is the most common request. The panels are made from the same collections as our sofas, banquettes and chairs — 320 colours in the ECO, PRESTIGE and PREMIUM categories.
- How long does production take?
- 7–21 days depending on complexity and volume. In the Kyiv project, 14 days passed from the order to the installed room.
- How are the panels fixed to the wall?
- We choose the fixings for the wall material: plasterboard, brick and concrete all hold differently. Tell the manager what your walls are made of — it affects both the fixings and the module size.
- Is there a minimum order?
- No. We take on both a single wall in a meeting room and a restaurant dining room — terms are discussed individually for each project.
