The ASTI LUX mattress is a firm mattress made in-house by MeBelle on a pocket spring unit. It is the premium version of ASTI: the same base, but with **coconut coir on both sides** rather than one. As a result, LUX is symmetrical and firm on both sides: there is no softer side as on the standard ASTI. It is the choice for those who already know they need dense support and are not looking for a compromise. Layer by layer: mattress fabric, polyurethane foam of varying density, coconut coir, felt, Pocket Spring unit, felt, coconut coir, polyurethane foam of varying density, mattress fabric. Coconut barely compresses: it is the coir, not the spring unit, that sets the firmness of the surface. The cover is removable and zipped. Maximum load: up to 130 kg per sleeping place, 10 kg more than the standard ASTI. Available in fourteen sizes; any other size we make to fit your bed frame.
